These industry web sites communicate Microsoft's latest information to the Utilities, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Automotive & Industrial Equipment and High Tech & Electronics fields. My role as the Site Manager is to work with the sites' stakeholders and the development team to keep the sites up to date with news, events, webcasts, case studies and other business insights surrounding Microsoft's Manufacturing & Resources messaging.

Microsoft Education Partner Community
This education partner ecosystem fosters a vibrant and active community of top education partners who communicate and collaborate with each other as well as with Microsoft. My role as the Education Community Lead included: community development via the web site (kept web site fresh by posting news, blogs, training, events, surveys, discussion forums). Provided assistance to content owners starting new sub sites within the portal. Daily partner communication, event assistance and monthly program/web site reporting.

Microsoft Mobile PC Partner Program
This program targeted Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) developing software for mobile PCs. The goal of the program was to help organizations and individuals develop and market quality applications for mobile PCs.
My responsibilities included daily partner communication and logistical management of program elements. Management of two public facing web sites and an extranet for partner registration. Creation and management of a monthly newsletter – Mobile PC News. Coordination of partner events and private/public webcasts. Monthly program and web site statistical analysis.
Developed and implemented a program enhancement plan, which included the creation, management and analysis of an online customer satisfaction survey.
Microsoft Mobile Embedded Division Market Intelligence
Researched, reviewed and posted market research documents to an internal web site, email distribution list and monthly newsletter.
Microsoft Role-Based My Site Templates, Office SharePoint Server
Managed work streams and milestones in a cross group environment, including an outsourced vendor overseas for the creation of 5 role-based my site templates. Negotiated with Microsoft groups for testing resources and assured quality deliverables. Great use of project management and collaboration software (SharePoint and Groove).
Visions in Action
This entrepreneurial company was ready for their own web site and my job was to help them get there. Worked closely with the owner to manage the schedule and deliverables.
